Established on the Sunshine Coast in 1987, Thomas Business Accountants has had the privilege of working with many of the Coast’s successful small businesses.

We have been there through the peaks and troughs of our local economy working beside our clients helping to optimise their business results whatever the economic climate.

Meet the Team

Tracey Chester

Director
Tracey is a CPA who has over 20 years practical experience in industries such as hospitality, sheep and cotton farming, motor vehicle sales and banking before she graduated from QUT and became an accountant.
Nick Ralph

Director
Nick qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte in 1996. His career in the profession, investment banking and commerce has taken him to many different countries. He now lives on the Sunshine Coast with his family.
Joe Kong

Director
Joe is a qualified Fellow CPA (Certified Practising Accountant) and has been a partner in public practice since 1994. Prior qualifications also included personal financial planning and self-managed superannuation.
Sharon Watts

Client Manager
Sharon moved to Australia from the UK with her family in 2008. She qualified as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 2015. Sharon has developed extensive tax and business experience and has been with us since 2014.
Andrew Congerton

Client Manager
Andrew is a qualified accountant and has worked in public practice since 2009. Previous professional experience includes corporate roles in accounting, marketing, and business consulting.
Dawn Pegg

Accountant
Dawn started with Thomas Business Accountants in 2018 and with many years of bookkeeping experience has progressed to assistant accountant. Dawn lives on the Sunshine Coast and enjoys spending time with her family.

Tyrin is the Admin Guru providing exceptional customer service and organisational skills for the firm.
Jasmin Kereena

Receptionist
Jasmin has worked in retail sales and store operations management for over 17 years. She is currently studying with BYU Idaho online to obtain her degree in Applied Business Management.
